Does Mudfish help FFXIV? ›

If you play Final Fantasy XIV at a distance from the servers, you may be experiencing some lag while in game! This page explains how to use the Mudfish VPN, which can combat high ping and better your gameplay experience.

Mudfish Setup Instructions

To open Mudfish, you will need to run it as an Administrator. This will open your default browser and allow you to sign into the program. If you decide to close Mudfish while it is still running, you should be able to open it again by typing in 127.0. 0.1:8282 into your browser's address bar.

There is no security and privacy with Mudfish, only speed for gamers. This is a big no-no for VPN providers as they may be forced to share this information with authorities. The purpose of VPN software is to keep your online activities anonymous, not to log what you're doing on the internet.

Mudfish itself might not "steal" your data. But it's really not doing anything except routing your traffic through what it advertises are better servers for gaming. Like, it doesn't encrypt your traffic at all, which is a basic element of most VPNs.

Amount of salt and time to let them soak is up to you. The salt will draw the blood out of the filets taking more of the muddy taste with it when you take the meat up and rinse in clean water. Fry them like you would other fish.

It is completely free public server. No credit is required, no speed limit.

Fishing does a really good job at scratching that collecting itch. There are so many different fish that can be collected in almost every body of water, sky, lava, or void in Final Fantasy XIV. Many of them require different baits, certain weather conditions, or intuition windows (triggered by catching other fish).

If mudfish works correctly, with Task Manager, you can see three processes, mudfish.exe, mudrun.exe and mudflow.exe aftersigning in. If not, there was a problem to launch the program. Check the mudfish core log file. At the dashboard, please click 'Status -> Process' menu.

Stop Mudfish

Clicks the exit menu of Mudfish's system tray icon if you want to terminate. If it's not existed properly, the following processes should be killed by Task Manager: mudfish.exe. mudflow.exe.

How do you get rid of mudfish? ›

At 'System Preferences -> Network' menu, you can see "Mudfish VPN" network. By clicking the minus icon, you can remove it.

A very special fish

Mudfish have the ability to survive during times when there is no surface water—something most other fish can't do! During these 'dry' periods, their metabolism slowly drops and they absorb oxygen through their skin.

While the use of a VPN can slow down your gaming connection speed, much depends on your network setup and the baseline speed you're starting at. For modern high speed broadband, the 5-10% slowdown in connection speed from using a VPN is probably not going to make much of a difference to your gaming experience.

Is it possible to use 1 mudfish account on 2 pc at the same time? Unfortunately it's not possible. Each machine should have a separated Mudfish account. Please check Manage aliases section about how to create a sub (alias) account which shares your mudfish credits.

After testing for a while I find Mudfish much better than Exitlag. You can create custom items and specify the multi node paths and have multiple paths for different regions also. Not to mention it's WAY cheaper.

You're not supposed to just stand around doing nothing, so you DPS otherwise. If there's healing to do you obviously heal first, though. Tank is most likely the hardest in end game content like savage/ultimate. IF YOUR NOT DOING SAVAGE/ULTIMATE just play whatever you want, both are optional.
